Work assignments

The purpose of the position is to provide a high-quality support service to the scientific community in order to improve the effectiveness of research and development activities and its continuous promotion:

  • advising researchers in writing funding applications for research projects;
  • participation in writing applications;
  • organization of trainings and information events on the preparation of financing applications;
  • writing grant reports;

Education

At least Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

Work experience

  • Previous exposure to European Union funding programs (Horizon, Interreg, Erasmus, Life)
  • Experience in preparing funding applications
  • Direct experience in conducting research or consulting
  • Knowledge of the organization of research and development activities in Estonia and the European Union
  • experience in writing grant reports

Personal qualities

Language skills

Very good spoken and written command of English.

Additional information The DigiBio project will create a research and technology platform for data-driven disruptive bioengineering solutions to accelerate translation of science to manufacturing of next-generation bioproducts. The platform relies on the generation and analysis of big data through integration of automated genome engineering, phenotype screening, high-throughput analytics, and informatics. The Estonian Biofoundry is a member of the Global Biofoundry Alliance.
