Project Advisor

The Project Support Service of the Knowledge Transfer and Projects Centre of Tallinn University is seeking to recruit Project Adviser. Tallinn University is a young public university with a growing portfolio of European projects.

Project Advisor

As a Project Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting Tallinn University researchers in developing successful Horizon Europe projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Advising researchers on Horizon Europe and other relevant funding programmes, including their rules and requirements.
• Supporting the development of competitive project proposals.
• Reviewing grant proposals and providing constructive feedback to improve their quality and compliance with funding requirements. 
• Developing and implementing internal training programmes on proposal writing and budget planning.

A university degree, preferably a Master's degree.

• Good understanding of the Horizon Europe framework program.
• Practical experience in grant proposal writing, preferably within one or more of the following funding programmes: Horizon Europe, ERC, MSCA, ETAG Team Grants, NordForsk, LIFE, the European Defence Fund, Erasmus+, ESF+, CERV or AMIF. Please describe this experience in your motivation letter. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the operational structure and organization of a university.
• Experience with EU funding programmes other than Horizon Europe.
• Estonian language skills.

• Collaborative work style.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
